"I was a visitor of many a website over the past few years. I noticed some resource sites (TAG and 2x4B's site, if I'm not mistaken) and their subsequent disappearance from the scene. I was surprised by it, because both were fun enough to browse, but I guess they just didn't feel like doing it anymore or something. Regardless, I always felt their disappearance was a big hole in the 'community'. Even though I've never been much of a partaker in it, I did feel that I had less cool stuff to read, and I gathered others would probably feel the same. So I decided to do it myself :)

That was the original about, when the site was still meant as a 'scam' site. Due to some stupid mistakes on my side, landing the wrong people with the wrong information (my IP info. seems my browser wasn't too certain whether to use the proxy or not ;). The site, however, still means the same. Reviews, written as objectively as possible, about the sites which make up the scene, and interviews devoid of subjectivity. We try to be fair, we try to be honest and spot-on right. As with everything, that sometimes fails. We chose for the scam angle because we figured that people would accuse us of being unfair and biased just because of who we are. We didn't want the project to be tainted by something like that so we decided to go the 'funky' route. Seeing as how that didn't work out, we hope the short scam period DID show people that we can write worthwhile content. EbO will continue as it has before, and with a bit of luck nobody's going to hate us for it ;)
